Who We Serve

Five sectors.
One standard of craft.

From civic institutions to landmark residences, we work where permanence is non-negotiable: spaces that need their floors to perform beautifully for a century, not a lease term.

Fire Houses

Apparatus bays, dormitories, and common areas that take extreme mechanical abuse daily. Our epoxy terrazzo systems resist oil, fuel, abrasion, and the weight of heavy apparatus without cracking, staining, or requiring replacement.

Churches

Sanctuaries, narthexes, and fellowship halls deserve floors that honor the space. We work with clergy and architects to incorporate custom medallions, inlaid symbols, and color palettes that reflect a congregation's identity, in material that lasts generations.

Sector Three

Schools

Hallways, cafeterias, and entryways face thousands of footsteps daily for decades. Terrazzo's hardness, ease of cleaning, and lack of seams make it the most hygienic and lowest-maintenance option for K–12 and higher education facilities.

Building Lobbies & Elevators

The lobby is a building's first and last impression. We design and install terrazzo floors and elevator cabs that command attention, with seamless patterns that flow from the street entrance through to the lift, custom inlaid medallions, and precision brass detailing that signal quality from the moment the door opens.

How We Work

The Terra Firma process.

Every project begins with deep listening, whether it's a new installation or a restoration. We understand your budget, timeline, code requirements, and aesthetic vision before a single chip is poured.

Step A

Site Assessment

We evaluate substrate condition, load requirements, moisture levels, and existing floor systems. No guesswork, just data.

Step B

Design Selection

Choose from hundreds of chip varieties, binders, and divider strip metals. We produce physical samples before any commitment.

Step C

Preparation

Substrate grinding, crack repair, and primer application. The floor beneath the floor is as important as what's on top.

Step D

Pour & Cure

Matrix is poured, leveled, and allowed to cure fully with no shortcuts. Rushing this step is how you get a floor that fails in five years.

Step E

Grinding & Polish

Sequential diamond grinding reveals the aggregate pattern. Final polish brings the floor to its specified sheen, from matte to mirror.

Beyond New Installation

Restoration & refinishing.

Not every project starts from bare substrate. A large part of our current work is bringing existing terrazzo back to life: floors that have lost their shine, cracked with age, or been damaged by settling, renovation, or heavy use. Terrazzo is one of the few flooring materials that can be fully restored rather than replaced.

01

Restoration

Decades-old terrazzo often has years of life left beneath its worn surface. We strip away built-up sealants, correct uneven wear, and bring the original aggregate pattern back into full clarity.

02

Repair & Patching

Cracks, chips, and settling damage are matched to the existing chip blend and binder color, then poured, cured, and ground flush so the repair disappears into the original floor.

03

Refinishing

Diamond grinding and re-polishing restore depth, shine, and slip resistance without a full tear-out. Most refinishing projects are completed in days, not weeks, with minimal disruption to daily operations.

What We Use

Material integrity,
without compromise.

We work exclusively with Portland cement and epoxy binders from established suppliers. Our aggregate library includes marble, glass, granite, mother-of-pearl, and recycled post-industrial chips, all verified for consistency and sourced responsibly.

Divider strips in brass, aluminum, or white alloy define patterns and control expansion. These aren't decorative afterthoughts. They are structural elements that prevent cracking and allow the floor to breathe over decades of thermal cycling.

We carry no proprietary product lines. Every specification we make is driven by what performs best for your space, not what's most profitable for us.
